Riding in Andalucia

A small family run yard, owned and run by Louisa and Kevin Saunders and their 2 children.
The stables have a rustic and relaxed feel about them, surrounded by amazing views.

Having spent nearly my entire life with horses, working mainly in competition, hunting and breaking yards, I understands how intimidating large yards can be. We keep a friendly stables, welcome you and look forward to discussing your ride and answering your questions.
So if you are looking for things to do in Andalucia this holiday, Summer breeze Stables is a great option to consider we offer riding experiences for all skill levels; pony club, pony trekking - to adventure horse riding, tackling some of the more challenging Andalucian terrain. We also provide riding tuition.
We are also happy to recommend some great accommodation close by to the stables.
Come riding in Andalucia & feel secure that you are in good hands
My experience started at the age of 3 years old, learning to ride at Chringleford Riding School – still run by Paula Sykes (Pat Smythes former head groom).
At 9 years old my 1st pony Gareth was bought for me, and from there began many years show jumping, showing and Pony Club. At 15 , my 1st competition horse took me into the world of BSJA show jumping and a chance to train with Capt Mark Philips, and later to be chosen to represent "South Norfolk Pony Club" for 3 years running, giving me a chance to compete at both Hickstead and Burgley.
On leaving school, I worked in many yards, gaining more valuable experience, not just in show jumping, but with showing, hunting and with training young horses… and a chance to work for the Earl of Dumfries, as head groom.
Before coming to Spain, I was working in a small privately owned racing yard, training and preparing race horses for Newmarket.
Both my children have ridden from a young age, and help in the yard on a regular basis.

This is especially nice when we have families with young children ride with us, it makes their children feel more relaxed and gives them someone to chat too when we go out riding.
As children living in the U.K. they both competed in both the Pony Club and many other events. Including showing to county standard. They ride all the horses we have here, and their experience is valuable, in giving other children confidence.
Their interest, encouraged me to train to teach for the Pony club, and help with the local RDA. All of which has proved an invaluable training for Summer Breeze stables, where i enjoy taking out all ages horse riding, sharing my accumulated knowledge and experience.
